This beautiful car was Imported from New Zealand in 2001 after a bare metal nut and bolt restoration on a all steel type 49 body shell fitted with period correct FIA approved bubble arches (flares) The engine, a correct all steel Lotus 1600cc "L" block with webber head produces about 165 horsepower which makes for a great handling and fun to drive 1830lb car, which is always leader amongst its peers. A well sorted car which has only seven race weekends on it since the restoration. A rare car in the states. And always a attention getter at the track. This Escort is easy to maintain and operate and will provide much enjoyment to its new owner.
