Description:
This ex-Dick Simon Racing car has just undergone a complete mechanical and cosmetic rebuild to
prefectionist standards. It has been completely gone-through by a highly esteemed Indycar mechanic
and has test time only. Confirming to AIS regulations it has been converted to a injected
Chevy small-block running on methanol. It is accompanied by a modest collection of spares including
a starter.
History
Originally run by Dick Simon Racing for Hiro Matsushita at Indy, the car then entered a second career
as an AIS spec car. A crash last year with light tub damage preciptated a comprehensive rebuild with
the tub going back to a composite specialist and currently better than new.
