Price reduced **** Chassis #4 the last chassis raced by the AAR team in 1984. Drivers during the year were, Michael Chandler,Kevin Cogan and Ed Pimm.Built under the watchful eye of master fabricator Phil Remington. The Pontiac aluminum stock block engine was built in house by Stump Davis. This Pontiac engine combination held the qualifying record for stock block engines for many years at INDY. The engine utilizes the GURNEY dry sump oil pan and his proprietary HILBORN intake manifold and direct injection.A bit over 750 hp on a flywheel dyno running on methanol.This car was featured in the PONTIAC PERFORMANCE magazine and also in the book, " Dan Gurneys Eagles". Only two owners ever. Comes with both full SPEEDWAY and road course wings and set ups. HEWLAND DGLR 5 speed transmission.Car comes with two sets of original AAR mag wheels and new tires. Spares include gears, a arms, stub axles and other original custom bits. Fully Sorted and ready to race. This is a very complete original historic INDY car. History
Built by All American Racers for the 1984 season. With sponsorship to run Michael Chandler. Ran as high as second at the Long Beach Grand Prix before a gearbox failure side lined the car.Qualified at INDY and held the qualifying record for a normally aspirated, production based engine for all time.

Ran the entire 1984 season, best finish was a 8th place.
