This car was an ex Hogan Reynard driven by Dario Franchitti. Originally ran Mercedes and later ran stock block Chevy in AIS (American Indy Car Series) trim. Currently the car sits in completely fresh condition with new 700hp Chevy small block on gasoline and EFI. Long story short, a bigger meaner and potentially safer Indy Lights car that requires only one crew member to man the starter from behind. Stock block chevy very intelligently integrated with professionally machined aircraft aluminum mounting plates and blocks to Reynard original mounting points and cro-moly support structure to relieve engine stress. No signs of engine block fatigue or twisting after complete rebuild. New fuel cell, crack tested suspension parts, fresh tranny build, Ohlins shocks, OMP fire system, ready for 2 way radio system, etc. Very large spares and support including many gears, dog rings, spare road course nose and wings and speedway wings as well, full carbon brakes, steel brakes, spares, multiple wheel sets, scrubbed Avon tires, etc etc. Comes with nitrogen bottle cart for air jacks which are working as well as air gun for wheels. Complete with support cart for starter with new batteries and charger. Surprisingly easy to drive for a competent race driver. Think you'd like an Indy car, stop thinking and get driving! Clutch is easy to modulate, brakes are exceptional and currently have the steel brakes which bite well even cold. Sequential shifter as simple as a shifter kart. Think of this car as the most technologically advanced Formula 5000 ever. If you have wanted a serious open wheel car, but loath idea of methanol support and seriously expensive engines, this is absolutely your car! Needs only a driver with one helper.
