For Sale, very original, stock early BDA 1600. June 1970 691M block. Cosworth stampings on the back. Same main caps as the 711M block. Standard bore. Crank mains/rods are standard as well. Cylinders are in nice shape. Head is in good, stock condition. No corrosion. 1600 big wing baffled sump. Has the pre-April '72 front cover.

July 1971 RS1600 chassis number stamped on head.

Head is a March 1970 date code.

Block is a June 1970 date code.
Cam Carrier date code is 7 27LH from Aeroplane & Motor and denotes 7th foundry melt on 27th November 1970

A simple disassembly for inspection, looking at one main and one rod journal. Measured cylinders and inspected. Still have honing marks. No rust. Journals have std. bearings. I decided to leave the pistons in the bores as they were moving freely. Didn't want to get into that.

Small box of some spark plug wires, extra bolts, timing belt cover and other little bits.
