Description:
This car is believed to be a racecar most of its life. It has had a recent bare metal respray, to include new rockers and floors. The replacement parts are all Rimmer parts from the UK, not cheap asian reproduction parts. The hood is steel Stanpart, with a fiberglass trunk lid. The engine is a mild 1300cc, believed to be a Leyland factory unit. It is strong with 190-200 compression and great oil pressure. It is fitted with a trick, lightweight alternator, Pertronix ignition, new water pump and recent re-cored radiator. The car is fitted with NOS Cosmic wheels off a Lotus Elan mounted with new Toyo RA-1 tires. It has Spax shocks all around. Also fitted is an authentic Lotus 26R seat, 5 point belts, fuel cell, fire system, new roll bar and headrest (by Tommy Riggins Engineering), and new battery.
